I am a Professor of English and Director of the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. For more than three decades, I have been discussing gender, sexuality, and feminism in the classroom, and this podcast—now in season three—is my effort to share these conversations with anyone interested in developing and deepening their understanding of these ideas. My hope is that you will find this format accessible and welcoming, just as you would a favorite college class.

I often tell students that we learn so that we are no longer powerless. That holds true for professors as well. In that spirit, let’s learn.
